Implementing the DITA Toolkit with FrameMaker

Adobe FrameMaker is a popular choice for DITA editing because many publication groups already use the application and it offers them a familiar environment in which to learn the DITA tagset and work with topics. Though it is a powerful tool, FrameMaker as a DITA editor presents several challenges. This webinar explains some authoring considerations that are unique to FrameMaker and also demonstrates some tools that help make the FrameMaker DITA environment more straightforward. • a few best practices for authoring DITA in FrameMaker
• a comparison of the out-of-the-box FrameMaker DITA functionality with that of Leximation's DITA-FMx plug-in
